Health, Safety and Wellbeing Policy




  • Prosperity REIT recognizes the importance of safeguarding the health and safety, as well as the wellbeing of all stakeholders.


  • We are committed to taking effective and practical measures to minimize the adverse impacts on health and safety caused by business activities.


  • This Policy covers all stakeholders including employees, tenants, business partners (such as vendors, service providers, suppliers etc.) and community at our office and properties. 



Prosperity REIT strives to provide a safe and healthy environment for stakeholders involved in our business operations and properties.  In addition, we recognize the importance of the health and well-being of our employees, tenants and community, and thus we are committed to providing a supportive culture, where healthy lifestyle choices and measures are encouraged. Accordingly, we will

  • Provide a safe and healthy working environment for our employees to perform their work;
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for our tenants, customers and the community;
  • Ensure our business operations and properties comply with relevant occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, and related requirements;
  • Advise Property Managers to establish an Occupational Health and Safety Management System and review its effectiveness on a regular basis;
  • Advise Property Managers to actively identify the significant hazards and manage the risks in all its properties;
  • Advise Property Managers to oversee the daily operations of each property and implement a range of safety and security measures to ensure the safety and security of tenants and public;
  • Ensure employees and business partners have adequate knowledge and skills on safety precautions through training and education;
  • Review the wellbeing measures and performance from time to time to uphold the mental and physical health, as well as the social wellbeing of our employees, tenants and the community;
  • Organize activities to increase the health and safety awareness and promote the wellbeing of all stakeholders;
  • Provide communication channels for our employees and tenants to raise concerns regarding health and safety environment;
  • Ensure all employees and business partners who engaged in our operations undertake their responsibilities to assist in the execution of all health and safety initiatives;
  • Uphold the transparency in reporting our health and safety performances.


Implementation and Review

  • The Sustainability Steering Committee is responsible for the oversight of this Policy with the assistance of the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) &Supply Chain Management Task Group and Employee Relation Task Group. The Sustainability Working Groups and Group level Human Resources facilitate the implementations of all health, safety and wellbeing initiatives and measures.


  • The Task Groups are required to have meetings quarterly for monitoring and evaluating the environmental performance of Prosperity REIT. They are also required to report the improvement progress to the Sustainability Steering Committee and the Board of Directors annually.


  • The implementation progress, status, and related performance of this Policy will be reported in our environmental, social and governance (ESG)Report on an annual basis.


  • This Policy will be reviewed by Sustainability Steering Committee from time to time and update the content to align with any revisions of our existing procedures and practices and the consideration of relevant legislations and the best practices as appropriate.
